Zircon
(G-ZR-65)
- Anti-spalling Resistance
- High Corrosion Resistance
Made from high-purity zircon (ZrO₂–SiO₂) as the main raw material and manufactured under optimal conditions, these bonded refractories offer high corrosion resistance. Zircon remains stable at temperatures up to about 1550℃, delivering exceptional corrosion resistance in glass melting furnaces.
Features
01. Anti-spalling Resistance
High anti-spalling resistance makes them suitable for the superstructures of glass melting furnaces with large temperature variations.
02. High Corrosion Resistance
Excellent corrosion resistance to molten glass and less likely to react at high temperatures with other types of bricks. Widely used as paving bricks or separator materials between fused cast refractories and silica bricks in glass melting furnaces.
