Zirconite is a high-quality Al₂O₃-ZrO₂-SiO₂ (AZS) fused cast refractory produced by melting selected raw materials using the long-arc method under strict quality control. Its main components are baddeleyite (ZrO₂) and corundum (Al₂O₃) crystals in a glassy matrix, ensuring excellent performance and stable quality.

Features

Selected alumina (Al₂O₃), zirconia (ZrO₂), and silica (SiO₂) raw materials and optimized production conditions result in dense fused cast refractories with high corrosion resistance to molten glass, providing durability in harsh furnace environments.

High-purity raw materials and rigorous quality control minimize the occurrence of defects such as stones and blisters during glass melting, making them widely used in areas requiring high-grade glass production.

Product Lineup

ZB-1681

AZS fused cast refractory with 33% zirconia. Minimizes stones and blisters, suitable for Superstructure of melting furnace, Breast wall of refining furnace, Pave, and Forehearth channel blocks.

ZB-1691

AZS fused cast refractory with 35% zirconia. Shows high corrosion and anti-contamination properties, suitable for glass contact parts such as Sidewall and Pave.

ZB-1711

AZS fused cast refractory with 41% zirconia. Provides excellent corrosion resistance, enhanced glass matrix for anti-contamination, suitable for severe corrosion areas such as Throat.

ZB-1681Z

AZS fused cast refractory with more than 36% ZrO₂, reduced glass phase and adjusted viscosity compared to ZB-1681. Low glass exudation, excellent anti-contamination properties, suitable for Superstructures of melting furnaces.

Casting Type

Mark Name Casting Type Description
RC

Regular Cast

Standard casting type. The product has casting voids (shrinkage voids) at the bottom of the casting gate.

VF

Void Free

After casting and cooling/solidification, the casting void portion is cut off, resulting in a product without voids.

ENC

End Cut

For Sidewall blocks, most of the casting void portion is cut off using the same method as VF.
