AGC Ceramics Co., Ltd was established as a spin-off from Asahi Glass Co., Ltd in April 1st, 2002. We have been engaged in ceramics business since we started refractory production for glass melting furnace of Asahi Glass Co., Ltd 100 years ago.

We are able to respond to the high temperature industries as all in one manufacturer by supplying four categories of ceramics products such as “Fused cast refractory”, “Monolithic refractory”, “Bonded refractory” and “Fine ceramics” in combination with the technology of simulation and engineering. We have been aiming to produce the products to please the customers by paying particular interest about material technology and quality for many years. We furthermore would like to continue to offer the products and services those are appreciated and accepted by the customers and society in future. We firmly believe to do so will result in our own joy and vitality.

Under the present circumstances that the protection of the global environment is an urgent issue on a global scale, we set management policy of "Earth Saving" with the desire of becoming one of the companies to be able to take a part to contribute to the world and protect the green of the earth forever through providing various solutions by utilizing ceramics material and technology. Through this process, we also would like to make efforts to be the base station to dispatch technology and information toward the world from Japan by pursuing the value creation of the new products and services.
