We introduce the characteristics of FINE-Bz® developed through AGC Ceramics’ own electro-fusion technology.

FINE-Bz®is fused beads manufactured through the process of melting precisely mixed ceramics raw material at 2,000℃, spraying and cooling-down rapidly.
FINE-Bz® contains 80% of Alumina and 10% of Zirconia.
Alumina has properties of hard and high thermal conductivity, but, on the other hand, it has a weak point of easy to break because of its brittleness.
FINE-Bz® overcomes this weak point of alumina (property of easy breaking), because zirconia having property of high toughness spreads over boundary area of alumina as if fastening.
